My Experience with Cocoa Locks

Hey Guys,

Can you believe we are into the second week in January already?

Today I wanted to talk about my collaboration with the brand Cocoa Locks which is a product that uses powerful hair vitamins in a chocolate shake or hot chocolate form. What’s not to love?

Cocoa Locks promise that with the use of their products you will receive the following benefits:

Longer, Stronger & Thicker Hair

Ease of convenience just to having one shake/hot chocolate a day

Clinically Proven Fast Hair Growth

Better Absorption Than Traditional Tablets

Only 32 Calories

All The Vital Vitamins And Nutrients

Delicious Hot Chocolate/Chocolate Shake For Fabulous Hair

So, hot chocolate and a chocolate hair shake that tastes amazing and makes your hair grow… I thought it would be too good to be true, however I found the Cocoa Locks one month hair trial beneficial towards my journey to having longer and healthier hair. You can see people who have tried the products results via the link below.

Personally, I am always sceptical about products that promise to grow you hair or make you slimmer etc… however, I really wanted to give this one a try after seeing the amazing results that came along from people’s experiences. My hair grows at a snails pace and generally grows out the way rather than down. Since starting the Cocoa Locks programme I’ve found my hair to be in a much better condition in terms of it feeling healthier, smoother, fuller, less frizzy, maintainable and stronger which is helping my hair grow. I have noticed a slight difference in length of around half an inch, which believe me is impressive for my hair.

Every single person is different and achieves different results at different paces when using the hair programme. I aim to continue the programme for another two months as I am starting to see the benefits of the product already and can’t wait to see the results over the next eight weeks.

If you want to give the Hairshake or Hot Chocolate shake a try, you can use code DENIMSLATTES20 for 20% discount across items you can find from the link below. I am looking forward to sharing the rest of my process with you.

Kartel: Watches With a Story To Tell

GUYS I AM BACK!!!

I know it has been months and months since I last wrote up a blog post, life has been busy from moving house, starting new job/s and starting my Fashion Branding course at university (which is amazing) Now I’m back and I want to dedicate a few hours each week into making my blog bigger and better as I have missed it ALOT.

I wanted to talk about the independent Scottish watch brand Kartel in my post this evening as I have collaborated with the brand previously and they have came so far in such a short space of time.

The brand consists of  timeless and classic watches that all relate to Scottish heritage, which I obviously love, being Scottish and all …. Each of the watches have a Scottish name such as ‘Sinclair’ or ‘Kendrick’ which I thought was quite interesting as it show’s how all of the inspiration has been taken from the creator/s background which relates to the brand as a whole, essentially meaning there is a story behind each of the watches.

As my colour palette tends to consist of black, white, grey, nude (anything with a neutral palette basically) I decided to go for the classic ‘Lewis’ watch that features a white face and black leather strap.

I don’t think I could find a more suited watch for myself!

What I love about Kartel watches is that they are gender neutral and affordable. Can you believe that this watch is only £69!?

You can also receive engraving services on the watches which is great for a personalised touch.

A Kartel watch would make the perfect gift for any occasion and you also have the option to build you own watch with a selected face and strap. AMAZING, right?

The idea is that you choose what style of watch you like, the dial colour and strap off your choice from the ‘Watch Builder’ option you can find via this link.

There are so many different watch styles that you can choose that can be personal to your own style.

If you are still doing your Christmas shopping like me …. then definitely consider a Kartel gift this Christmas. It will not disappoint.

That Pink Boutique Dress

Good Morning,

Today’s post is about my recent dress I bought from Pink Boutique for a wedding reception I was at last weekend.

I am always apprehensive about purchasing clothing online as I have had a few disasters which I am sure you can all relate to haha!

I came across the website ‘Pink Boutique’ and I couldn’t recommend the brand more. The dress I ordered looked exactly as it did online, it was also very affordable and can be worn for lots of different occasions whether your going out with friends, a family party or going to a wedding like I was.

I acessorised this look with silver jewellery with a black clutch and heels.

The dress I’m wearing can be found here, it’s a complete style steal for just £25

You can find the Kurt Gieger heels I’m wearing from the link below. They are definitely my new favourites as they give a lot of height, I love the cross over strap detail too.

I hope you all have the best weekend.

The Beginning Of Spring

Hi guys,

Tonight’s post is about my favourite season of the year and yesterday’s day out with my mum to celebrate Mothers Day!

Who else is glad that Spring is finally here? Seeing the blossoms on trees and nice weather coming in is getting me so excited for the Easter Holidays! I can’t believe it’s almost April already, this year is going by so quickly.

To celebrate Mothers Day yesterday, I treated my mum to a bouncy blow dry at a new salon opened up in Glasgow, Clarkston Southside called ASH and I cannot recommend the salon enough. The place is so cute and quirky with a modern vibe and lots of rose gold details (which I am obsessed by). The hairdressers are great too and both mine and my mums hair has remained bouncy for two days! You can check out the salons Instagram at @ashprohair to see all of the lovely hairstyles they have done previously. For those of you that live nearby you should definitely go and try it out whether your going for hair, makeup or nails.

Since it was sunny, me and my mum spent the afternoon in the City and went to a bar called The Social for lunch as well as doing some shopping … we ended up buying lots of makeup instead of clothes which is unusual for us hahah!

(Sporting my bouncy blow dry) I finally got to wear my fringed jacket again since it wasnt freezing for once. This one is from Hollister. I accessorised with my Michel Kors gold chain mini cross body, Chloe sunnies and gold chain from New Look.

For once I wasn’t wearing any black which is a miracle! I opted for skinny denim jeans, a cream body suit (River Island) and brown MK sandals, accessories and jacket.

Below I have styled a similar look with all items being from River Island!

I hope you all had a lovely weekend and have a good week ahead

Goodnight
